Founded and led by people who come from the communities we serve. Decades of procurement, governance, and construction experience between them.

A proud member of Cumberland House Cree Nation and a fluent Swampy Cree speaker, Sydney brings more than 40 years of experience in governance and business development.
Sydney has made a lifelong commitment to serving Indigenous communities, and ensuring that they are never taken advantage of. His experience spans across some of the most consequential institutions within Indigenous governance and economic development across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

A proud member of Pimicikamak Cree Nation (Cross Lake Band of Indians) in Northern Manitoba, Vincent began his professional career in construction at an early age.
He is the founder and CEO of Iceland Concrete, a thriving First Nations business that has operated out of Saskatchewan since 2009. Vince is also dedicated to mentoring Indigenous youth and building Indigenous capacity within the trades, which shapes how both Iceland and the broader Ataway group hire and operate.

With a seasoned background in construction, Ian brings decades of extensive management and field experience to every project.
Ian has a detailed history working with First Nations on many joint ventures involving community and economic development. At Ataway, Ian oversees all operations relating to on-the-ground projects through the coordination of crews and the management of schedules and budgets, holding the standards the partners set when work moves from the boardroom to the build site.
