Our Mission

Our goal is to build real pathways for Indigenous economic participation.

The Gap

A pattern we've watched too many times.

Year after year, Indigenous procurement commitments are made on paper but don't reach the communities they're meant to serve. Money flows through layers of intermediaries, and by the time it arrives, less of it lands where it was promised.

Our Commitment

Closing the gap between commitment and benefit.

Ataway was founded to close the gap within Indigenous procurement so that it can become easier, more reliable, more transparent, and genuinely beneficial to the communities it is meant to serve. The objective is straightforward: real participation, clear reporting, and shared economic growth.

i.

Participation

Real Indigenous participation in major procurement projects where suppliers, subcontractors, and communities are all actively involved in the work. Not just on paper, but in practice.

ii.

Transparency

Transparent money flow and benefit reporting so communities and contractors can see exactly where value lands and who benefits.

iii.

Self-determination

Decisions made by the community, not for it. We bring the connections and the capacity; the community chooses how to use them.
