Ataway is an Indigenous procurement and partnership company that helps connect major project opportunities with Indigenous-owned businesses, suppliers, contractors, and First Nations communities.
We help make Indigenous procurement more practical, transparent, and beneficial by supporting real participation, clear reporting, and respectful business relationships. Our goal is to turn procurement commitments into meaningful opportunities and shared economic growth.
Ataway was built from a simple observation: major projects across Saskatchewan and Canada are spending billions of dollars in many sectors, but Indigenous businesses are too often left looking in from the outside. Not because they lack the capacity, but because the systems, networks, and relationships that connect spending to suppliers were never built with Indigenous participation in mind.
We built Ataway to change that.
Rooted in Neechi-wagan Group of Companies and grounded in First Nations values of reciprocity and shared benefit, Ataway exists to bridge the gap between procurement commitments and real economic outcomes for Indigenous peoples. We are proud to be an Indigenous business that builds things, employs people, and operates in the same communities we serve. Our lived experience shapes everything we do.
